CASE STUDY TEASER: Building a Corporate Advisory Board

The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) is an international society of cardiologist, radiologist, and scientist whose mission is to improve cardiovascular health by advancing the field of CMR. In 2019, the Society formed a Corporate Advisory Board which led to new revenue source of $120,000 gross income; offered opportunity for corporate partners to participate and network with leadership; and provided funding to support mission-driven projects.
The Corporate Advisory Board was a huge success for the Society and the model is sustainable. This case study will explain the process of how the Board was formed, how projects were determined, and how the model may be applicable to your association.
